Pesticide residues monitoring Czech Republic 2021

According to the Regulation (EC) No. 396/2005 of the European Parliament and of the Council on maximum residue levels of pesticides in or on food and feed of plant and animal origin, Member States shall participate in the Community control programme to ensure compliance with maximum levels of pesticide residues in or on food and feed of plant and animal origin. The Community control programme is included in the national control programme to monitor the presence of the pesticide residues in food in the Czech Republic. The requirements of the multi-annual control plan programme are included in the control plans of official authorities (CAFIA, SVA and CISTA), competent to monitor pesticide residues in foodstuffs of plant and animal origin and feeds.

The implementing requirements of the Community control programme are specified in applicable legislation for the year 2021, i.e. Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 2020/585.

In accordance with the Regulation (EC) No. 396/2005 Article 30, Member States should publish the results of national monitoring residues on the Internet.
